Putting Community First
I have always put community at the forefront of my service as councillor.
As your Ward 9 representative, I will continue pushing for a Kitchener that is:
Affordable:
with inclusive zoning policies; using City land to prioritize low-cost housing projects; with adequate, affordable housing for everyone.
Sustainable:
by reducing greenhouse gas emissions; employing renewable energy sources; and requiring that new developments be net zero ready.
Equitable:
where everyone is heard; accessibility needs are met; all are treated with dignity; and all concerns are respected.
Liveable:
with 15-minute complete communities; more parkland in the core; a vibrant downtown; and active transportation throughout.
Kitchener residents deserve a city that balances
social equity with economic growth.
I am committed to working toward this end.
